I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN er en stedsspesifikk og tverrfaglig forestilling av kunstnerkollektivet LiLi Re.
Hva tillater vi oss å sørge over – og hvordan sørger vi i vestlige samfunn i dag?
LiLi Re inviterer til et performativt sorgrituale som undersøker vårt emosjonelle forhold til mennesker, steder og den ikke-menneskelige verden. Forestillingen kombinerer en intim voiceover, lyd, tekstile installasjoner samt fysiske og vokale uttrykk, inspirert av den eldgamle praksisen med lamentation – et kollektivt og kroppslig språk for sorg.

Den første performative handlingen i dette prosjektet fant sted i juli 2024 ved Engabreen, en brearm av Svartisen, med en stedsspesifikk vandring og en levende begravelse for den smeltende isen. I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN er nå tilpasset Oslos urbane kontekst.
Forestillingen starter som en utendørs vandring.
VIKTIG: Oppmøtested er utenfor Hasle T-banestasjon.

I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN is a site-specific, multidisciplinary performance by the artist collective LiLi Re.
What do we allow ourselves to grieve – and how do we grieve in Western society today?
LiLi Re invites you to a performative act of mourning, exploring our emotional relationship to people, places, and the non-human world. The performance combines an intimate voiceover, sound, textile installations and physical and vocal expression, inspired by the ancient practice of lamentation – a collective and embodied language of grief.

The first performative action of this project took place in July 2024 at Engabreen, a glacier arm of Svartisen, with a site-specific walk and a living funeral for the melting ice. I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN is now adapted to the urban context of Oslo.
The performance begins with an outdoor walk.
IMPORTANT: Meeting point outside Hasle T-bane station.
Please dress appropriately for the weather.
The performance ends inside Gamle Munch.
Duration: ca 90 min.
